Modest foam with heavy carbonation on a clear brown body. Soft watery smoky aroma with a hint of vegetable. Flavour is soft leather, molasses and a touch of fig. Medium finish. Fig lingers on. Interesting experiment, not necessarily bad but not really too exciting either.

Reddish-brown, medium head. A bit of smokiness on the nose. Very light body, bit of smoke, kind of ashy and not a whole lot of anything else, and I'm especially missing the malt.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out a nice moderate smokiness, with gentle peat and toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with gentle smoke, with even gentler peat, and a lightly sweet caramely bready malt base. Nicely structured and very easy to drink.

Bottle from Denman LRS, Vancouver
Dark amber colour, red hue, clean. Malt aroma, delicate smoke. Soft mouthfeel, caramel flavour, but weak, very light smoke, I wouldn't have any idea that there are figs, short final.
Boring offer.

650ml bottle at Brian's after Erik's, lol. Pours a clear copper with a white head. Aroma is fruity, a bit of caramel and roasted malt. Similar taste. Pretty simple and easy drinkable.

Bottle - Dark malts, touch of dark breads. Deep clear Amber with a small white head. Fig, light sweet smoke and dark malts. Very subtle and light, but almost too subtle.
