Surprisingly good for the style, well balanced, some rocoto and aji, spicy but not at the extreme, some hop and malt, dry, to repeat, 13.01.18, buying it at one shop in Lima, Miraflores, drinking it at Collique

Tasting at Fiery's Tasting Room
Cloudy golden colour. The pepper character is strong, it has just light hot touch, some malt in the base beer.
Not too bad.

Bottle - Green chilli pepper. Cloudy copper with a small white head. Green pepper, mellow heat and a decent finish. Bit simple but decent.

Earthy, yeasty, aroma. Has a nice earthy chile character. Has a nice moderate bitterness. Has a little bit of fire. Not half bad - I mean the IPA lacks any kind of brightness. The chile isn't bad in this. It's balanced at least.

Hazy amber with little white head. Aroma is passion fruit fresh hoppy fruit honey malt slight salsa spices. Taste is fresh fruity with some bitter malt. A bit heavy for drinkability and full bodied. Deep salsa finish. Nice. Update: the whole capsicum was in the final sips of the bottle. Clearly this is not how it was supposed to be. First uncontrolled feature of a maddok beer that i noticed. Still a decent one.

On draft at canas in Lima Peru. Pours a dark cola with a tan head. Chili nose. Flavors of chili and caramel. Bitter finish. Smooth fiery finish. Not an IPA but a really drinkable and interesting beer.
