The highest dry hop of our IPA’s, it features juicy, citrusy Mosaic, Falconer’s Flight and Azacca hops, with flaked oats added to enhance the body and mouthfeel.

On tap at Vancouver Fish Company. Lightly hazed pale gold with a small quick fading white head leaving spotty lace. Nose is tropical fruit, melon,citrus peel. Light fruity sweetness with a medium orange peel and pineapple bitterness. Mouth is medium with average carbonation. 7/3+/6/3/14

On tap in Kimberley. Nice hazy yellow body and some modest foam on top. Good clean chalky hop aroma, slight papaya, canned pineapple with lyme. Taste is chewy vegetal hops, soft hop sweetness. Ends wet and starts to fall apart into a chalky watery mess very quickly. Like one of those blockbusters that captivates you for the first half and then you fall asleep.

On tap. (6.4% ABV) Pours a cloudy blond with a small, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of grainy wheat malt, orange, grapefruit, tropical fruit and piney hops. Sweet flavour of wheat malt, oats, orange, grapefruit, mango and apricot in a dry, mild bitter, piney hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad.

Sort of a dull hazy, flat-looking beer. Misses the "looks like shit" mark of the style while actually looking even less attractive. No head. The aroma has some orange juice character to go alone with a touch of yeastiness. Bitter, grapefruit, not much malt character but decent body. Misses the mark for the style but it’s actually not bad because even though the malts don’t help anything they generally stay out of the way of the orangey bitter hops. There are a lot of ways this could be better, but transplant this hop character into a clean, all-pale malt ale and you’d have something.

Bottle from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy dark blond color with generous head. Light citrus peel and hop resin aroma. Delicate malt base, a bit crackery; the hopping is quite good, resiny and a bit zesty, with balanced bitterness, but nothing as fruity as a New England IPA.
Possibly off target, but it’s a good IPA.
