Inspired by West Coast IPAs, but brewed with Michigan style. The Crooked Tree is heavily dry hopped to give it a big aroma of pine and citrus. The flavors are big, yet very balanced between fresh hops and malt. Often described as "grapefruit" our hops give this beer an excellent fruit flavor that finishes dry.

Bastante buena ligero toque afrutado inicial y gran amargor seco y duradero. Para repetir sin problema.

Very hoppy beer indeed. I liked the dry, citrus aroma and taste of the beer. Good one.

Bottle at Pleased to Meet You, Newcastle on 30 July 2013. Poured a hazy orange with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus and pine hops, with some tropical fruit sweetness. Grapefruit flavours with hints of caramel and candy sugar. Rounded lingering hop bitter finish with some malt grain elements.

Tap@Fermentoren, CPH - amber pour with puffy medium white head and persistent lacing. Fresh juicy citrus taste and aroma, orange, lemon, some pine and floral herbal nuances. Nice stuff.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; cloudy light brown pour with off white head, slight piney aroma, pine and grapefruit in the taste but the forward taste is malt dominated, probably drank at it’s best, some bitterness.
