Inspired by West Coast IPAs, but brewed with Michigan style. The Crooked Tree is heavily dry hopped to give it a big aroma of pine and citrus. The flavors are big, yet very balanced between fresh hops and malt. Often described as "grapefruit" our hops give this beer an excellent fruit flavor that finishes dry.

Tap at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 20th June 13. Thirst quenching IPA, good flavour, plenty of hops. Little too carbonated for my taste, went down well though

Bottle split at Tony’s, from the Beer Shop LTD, 19/05/13. Hazed orange amber with a medium sized off white head. Nose is hops, pine, orange pith, caramel malts. Taste comprises caramel malt, bitter grapefruit, bitter orange, pine resin, light sugars, good smattering of hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finish. Decent IPA.

355ml bottle Drink-In at Ølbutikken. Firm off-white head to a rather unclear orange coloured body. Fragile lacing. Malt-fruity aroma with grapefruit and grainy malts. Well blended taste of sappy citrus and semi-sweet brown malts. Dry and smooth, bitter tail. Refreshing drink promoting a mood for bottle shopping (Copenhagen, 23.05.2013).

Great original IPA. Aroma has a nice dose of pine as well as some citrus hops, malt and even something that almost tastes like mint. Pours pretty amber. Ok head, some lacing. Aftertaste bitter and a little minty. Average carbonation. Definitely original. Bottle.

An orangebrown beer with a weak and blond head. Aroma is fruitfull with lots of fructose sweetness, peaches, some pine. Taste is fruitfull and caramelly in the beginning, then more bitterness that dries the taste, some grapefruits, sweetness are still there in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, nice and refreshning carbonation. Quite sweet IPA, that feels a little bit too heavy.
