Draft pour pint at Fremont. Thanks Joet! A pleasure enjoying beer and conversation with you. A near black pour with a patchy, cola fizz head. Cocoa, chocolate, toasty malt aroma and flavor. Some nutty grain, and a little crayon. Weird profile, but it worked for the most part. A good porter, but some of the variations I'm sure, made this a better porter.

On Tap Clear but deep dark brwon and a thin tan head leaving soapy lacing. Medium roast aromas and flavors. Some chocolate and a litel campfire at the end. Roast malt bitterness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa and roast. Medium body, roast, cocoa, dry finish, good.

On tap at bier thirty. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice chocolate some coffee and a little malt. Taste is more of the chocolate sweetness and a nice light coffee roast.

On tap. Pours black with a light tan head. Aromas of dry roasted malts, ash, and dusty dark chocolate. Flavors of dry roasted malts, salty dry nuts, and bitter cocoa powder. Dry. Right on style. OK.

On tap at Fremont, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, some cocoa and a little coffee. Flavour follows accordingly, with toasted malt, dry cocoa and coffee. Fairly robust without being harsh. Very nice porter.
