Bottle - Woody, pine and earthy hops, with a big malty backbone. Clear dark amber with a thin white head. More like an American Barleywine with big malty caramel and a bitter hoppy finish. Earthy and woody, very nice.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a ton of small suspended particles. Small white head, dissipates quickly but leaves nice lacing. Aroma is way caramel - this has to be an old bottle, but hey Hoppin’ Frog, put a fucking bottling date on your beers or take what you get! Flavor is stale IPA, caramel, some pine, cardboard, random bitterness. Light sweet, quite bitter with almost no actual flavor nuances to go with it. Yuk. About 21 ounces of this baby was dumped into the hotel room toilet, which seems a fitting end for such an old stale beer.

Bottle @ WWT III. Hazy golden orange-ish colour with an off-white head. Nose is hoppy, tropical, a bit ashy. Flavour is light caramel malts, hoppy, tropical, mango and pine. Fairly bitter. Finish is slightly sweet and fairly bitter.

One of the best IPA’s I ever had. Very hoppy, but with a soft caramel touch. The combination is brilliant.
