Cloudy amber brown beer. Soft palate with a creamy feel. Aggressive hops, bitter grapefruit and not much else. A little aniseed alcohol in the dry bitter finish. Not bad but not the subtlest of IPAs.

Bottle, 22oz. A more or clear one, copper-colored and topped by a dense off-white head of moderate size. Nice citrusy and resiny aroma with the malty sweetness in the back. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated, maybe a bit sticky sweet. Quite bitter in the mouth, but not very bitter. Citrus peel, resins and a nice amount of malty sweetness and caramel. Some pineapple and peaches too, finishing mostly on the hoppy side with bitterness, peaches, pineapple, resins and citrus. A quite pleasant one, would like to have more of it. Pleasantly balanced hops and malts. 110122

bottle from Bierkompass. Slightly hazy deep amber-copper colour, large off-white head. Impressive aroma of citrusy hops. Full-bodied, sweet malty base with loads of superb aromatic hops, citrusy, slightly resiny and very spicy and bitter. A brilliant brew.

Deep copper colored body under and average sized sticky white head. Pine and grapefruit hop aroma with a bit of spice. Some malt sweetness in the flavor with a hop bitterness that starts early and goes all the way through to the finish.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with a full, off-white head. Citric hop, herbal aroma, some honey malts. Fairly sweet with prominent caramel, orange, strong earth and citrus rind bitters. Full in body with lively carbonationand nice warmth. Bitter and well sweet finish, nice candied sugar notes. Overall a very nice DIPA.

22oz bottle. Poured a slightly hazy dark amber color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma was bitter hops, sweet malts. Taste was pretty complex, bitter hops, citrus, grassy notes, floral arrangement. Alcohol mellow for 8.2%, liked this one.

Medium to good yellow, dense head over foxy-red beer, textbook lace. Frying oil, caramel, and rather faraway hops; deepfried leaves and -hops. Agressive vegetable and again frying oil-like flavouring; hopoils, if not very fragrant. Bitter toffee, pineapple ester, pine resin and, warming up, soapy with a retronasal sweet-vegetable flavour I cannot place. BIt burning MF; very slick, medium to well-bodied. I’m underwhelmed, certainly for a DIPA.
