Poured from 473mL can. Clear orangey yellow with small white head. Mild earthy, bready malt with touch of caramel and hint of pine. Very average.

Medium gold body and modest foam. Chewy hops on the nose. Flavour is more sweet caramelly hops. Mouthfeel is okay with decent oiliness. Simply adequate.

On tap at Vancouver Island, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out old, earthy hops, and bready malt. Flavour is a bit caramely and butterscotch-like, with earthy hops and toasted caramel. Not terrible, but this isn't how you want a pale to turn out. Not on point.

Taster at the brewery with Farees and Brian during Zwanze Day. Pours a bit hazy with a white head. Aroma is quite dirty a bit vegetable and sweet. Taste is similar taste. Lager-ish beer. Piney bitterness aftertaste. Quite good, though.

Bright dark blonde but without much head. Earthy, chewy, light piney notes. Somewhat watery in the finish. Ok, balanced.

Can - Update - Citrus and nice light pith. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Bitter and light sweetness. Citrus is not as juicy, but it is much better than the original recipe. Can - Bready and butter notes. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bready and butterscotch. A bit more english in style.
