Amber colour with beige head.Aroma of rosted malt and ashes well balanced taste and really delicious beer.Its the best ale i have tasted.

Peanut, caramel, and pine bouqet. Cloudy brown color, thick tan head. Tastes EXACTLY like unsweetened tea with lemon and a decent hop finish. Good beery mouthfeel though. Uprated for being unusual.

Bouteille 12 oz, courtoisie de Hogtownharry. De couleur brune ambrée et semi-voilée. Nez malté de caramel légèrement rôti, de houblon floral, légèrement herbeux (herbe fraîche) et aux petites traces résineuses, légèrement fruité (léger d’agrumes et de pêches) avec des notes de pain, de biscuits et de noix. Mince-moyenne en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et légèrement croustillant ainsi qu’une texture moyennement crémeuse. Moyen goût de levures fruitées (moyen d’agrumes, léger de pêches, traces d’abricots) avec un goût moyennement amer de houblon floral, légèrement herbeux (herbe fraîche) et aux petites notes citriques (pamplemousse, qui dure toute la gorgée) ainsi que de faibles traces de tabac lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de caramel légèrement rôti et sucré ainsi qu’un léger goût de biscuits et des notes de pain grillé puis en finale l’on assiste à un léger regain du houblon plus herbeux avec des petites notes résineuses et asséchantes. Post-goût moyen-long et un peu sec, moyennement amer de houblon floral, légèrement herbeux et aux notes citriques (quelques traces résineuses et terreuses), léger de rôti et avec de petites notes fruitées (zest d’agrumes).

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a caramel amber color with a small tang head. The aroma was nutty malts with light caramel and fruity hops. The flavor was caramel, nut and bitter floral hops. The finish was long and bitter.

Bottle at Københavnske øldage. Copper colour with a beige head. Aroma is fruit, hop, caramel, malt. flavour is sweet, fruit, hop, caramel, malt. ok beer.

Bottle at Københavnske Øldage. Clear, copper body with a beige head. Quite malty nose with a good dash of beef-stock, along with fruityness and piney hops. Some dried fruit in the flavor, with beef-stock and other umami notes. Full, a bit sweet mouthfeel. Malty and piney finish. A quite nice beer, but a bit too malty I think. 070512

bottle - Pours light amber with a big head. There’s some citrus hops in the background of the pleasant caramel malt aroma. The flavor is caramel malts and moderately strong hops. The latter is rather strong for the style and this beer reminded me more of a good pale ale.

Bottle @ Københavnske Øldage 2007 in Copenhagen. Hazy medium amber red color with a frothy fair lacing mostly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, roasted, moderate hoppy, earth. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Pour is hazy amber / orange. Aroma is very malty. For whatever reason, I had in my mind that this was an APA, so was surprised at the maltiness of the initial sip. Of course, when I realized it was an Amber, made more sense. Additionally, I thought this one tasted a quite a bit like Dead guy, though not as distinctive.

Clear amber with fine white creamy bubbly head. Strong hoppy aroma that promises a lot. Easy malty - caramel. Highly/lively carbonation with a close to watery body. Sharp/harsh bitter taste. Lacks depth - not complex. Fine lacings on the side of the glass. Overall Pleasant and OK finish. A bit disappointed though - This is Not the best Rogue beer out there.
