American Amber Ale is the second-ever beer created by Rogue’s brewmaster John Maier back in 1988. This tawny amber brew with a toffee aroma, delicate roasted malt notes and smooth finish displays what beer judges call the “perfect embodiment of an American Amber Ale."

Dobre wyraznie aromatyczne, pachnie kawa i troche cynamonem. W smaku czuc laske wanilli, cynamon i toffi, troche karmelu. Piana niewielka i rubinowy odcien leciutko zamglone piwo przez odrobine osadu. Smak tresciwy i przez karmelowy slod jest goryczkowe i wytrawne. Wyraznie na finiszu dominuja chmile z USA.

Hazy, brown-orange-amber with a short, thick tan head. Aroma is caramel, bread. Taste is caramel with a really pleasant hop bitter.... Grapefruit peel, toast. Very good.

Bottle 0.355l at Bar Molotov, Helsinki. Colour is reddish copper with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Floral, fruits, plums?, some malts and hops.

At a tasting, thanks zvikar, hazy red to light brown colour, light fruity hoppy aroma, with some nuts and metal., bready flavour, with some burned sugar, strong and a touch coarse bitterness. Nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy deep amber. Aroma of malt, dust, a bit of hops, slightly stale, floral notes, some overripe fruits and light caramel notes. Flavor has some sweetish malt, a bit of caramel and moderate hoppy bitterness with dusty and floral notes. Medium-bodied. Decent.

355ml bottle from Alko Arkadia. Poured copper color with a creamy dirty white head, Aroma has burnt sugar, bready malty, toasty aroma. Flavor similar, toasted, nutty, bready malty. Bitter quite dry, hoppy finish. High carbonation, tickles in the mouth. Medium body. Enjoyable.

22 ounce bottle. Hazy amber orange color topped by a big bubbly beige head. Fragrant toasted caramel malt nose with hints piney hops and cut grass. Light toasted malt flavor with medium body and sweetness. Medum piney hops offer a nice balance. Creamy mouthfeel and lightly carbonated. Finishes dry with a subtle hop bitterness. Overall, a nice session ale.
