Kwak is a traditional strong Belgian amber ale, a perfect blend of malt and hops with a great complexity of flavour.
Appearance: the Kwak beer is recognizable by its deep amber, clear beer with a dense, creamy-coloured head. The white wood support offers a nice contrast with the beer.
Aroma: A balance of dark caramel, dried orange, a hint of banana and baking spices with a touch of earthiness
Flavour: Medium-bodied with a soft, mellow warmth. Flavours include gentle allspice, baked caramel and banana with notes of orange marmalade. Spice and a warming character linger on the finish with a delicate bitterness.

It is an interesting beer, classical, nice to drink. The taste is malty, caramel, some hop, alcohop present but it is well balanced, 22.08.16, probably at PrΓ©laz and buying it at Paris.

Clear amber with a tan head. Fruity up front, crystallized sugars, malt, a snap of spice, red fruits. Medium bodied. Finish has a nice spice bite that keeps it from getting too sweet. Nothing extraordinary but a solid Belgian amber.

Bottled. Pours deep amber with huge head that disappears quickly. Slight alcohol, sweet fruits, some flowers in aroma, typical Belgian ale notes. In taste itβs wuite similar with warm mouthfeel, medium body and soft carbonation. I dig it.
