(Cask at Earlโ€™s Court Tavern) An easily drinkable copper coloured bitter. Perhaps this was a bit sweeter than bitters usually are. There was nothing really worth mentioning.

Deep amber. Sweet malty aroma, very caramelly. Sweet character, alright fruitiness. Kind of a simple beer.

Light brown coloured body with a tan head. Aroma of light hops, a touch of cream and some nuts. Light-bodied; Creamy flavour up front with some malt, caramel and a touch of hops at the tail end. Aftertaste shows more hops than malt, but more water than that! Overall, pretty disappointing, but not horrible - still decent with a touch of hops. I sampled this pint on cask at Crown & Jewel in London, England on 13-December-2008.

[Cask at The Clarence, Whitehall, London] Copper in hue. Lots of malt, some fruit & caramel. Pleasant enough, but a little thin & dull.

cask - Pours light amber with a mild malt aroma. The flavor is well balanced malt sweetness with mild hops. Itโ€™s average at best. The key word here is mild. Everything about it is light.

Cask at the Oxford, London NW5, UK on 6th January 2010. Amber with yellow-white frothy head; patchy lacing. Caramel malt aroma initially. Citric hop astringency in main kick before a fairly sweet, lingering finish with tail-end hoppiness. Not unpleasant but rather sweet in general.

27th August 2008. Frothy orange beer. Just a light hop prescense under the creamy malt. Let down by a powder dry finish.

Cask. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. light caramel and light earthy aroma. Fruity (mostly summer fruits) flavor with some caramel. Medium-light bodied. Tropical/sumemer fruits linger with light caramel.

Smell isnโ€™t too exciting, some barley and malts, and not very strong. Looks alright, very creamy, dark brown-amber, though it was in a pub so I canโ€™t be sure of that. The taste was refreshing, lots of barley, but not very bitter and definitely too watery. A decidedly average bitter.
