Excellent fruity elements in the aroma and taste, but its dry texture negates this.

Drucken ett antal gånger på Greatham Inn. Kådaaktiga aromer, bra maltkropp och drag av torkad frukt med distinkt beska.

Decent bitter, caramel under tones. Default pint if in generic London Bar, as they either have lager or Doom Bar as token ale

cask @ Anchor Inn, Sidmouth. Clear copper-golden colour, small head. Solid malty base, slightly grainy with good citrusy-fruity hops.

Cask at Scottsbridge Mill, Rickmansworth, Herts. A copper coloured pour with a small white head on top. Malty, caramel aroma. Tastes fruity, malty, slighty sweet. This beer is way too thin and lacking in complexity, yet another boring English bitter.

Take 2 - Cask @ Bandstand Bar, Nairn 040812
Was a bit better this time but it’s still a bland boring beer to me
Cask @ Thunderton House, Elgin 4/3/5/2/9 2.3 .........Typical brown bitter apperance, brown, clear 1 finger white reasonably dense head with moderate lacing on glass.....aroma - not much on the nose - caramel malt....Taste - malt, caramel malt, hops bitter and a bit grassy, slight toffee. Rather boring, plain bitter, not much aroma or taste......Palate - moderate bitter finish, dry, some cereal, offputting acidity...... Drinkable, but not great. Over-hyped and rather mediocre IMHO

Cask at the Waterway. Clear copper pour with a lacy, white head. Light toast malt nose. Pleasing flavor, light to medium sweet, light bread and caramel. Light bodied, fine carbonation, very smooth. Dries out a bit in the finish, plenty of doughy malts and some mild, herbal hops. Decent.
