Bottle. Color: Clear orange-brown amber, beige head. Aroma: Malty, hoppy background. Taste: Smooth, malty, sweetish, bit sugary and subtle caramel malt, yeasty hints. Moderate sweet, light bittery floral hop background. A little more bitterness at dry-ish finish. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Nice typical British Ale.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours a clear copper colour with a thinnish creamy off-white head. Aromas of dark fruits, caramel, bread, biscuits and a hint of spice. Taste is again fruity with more caramel, bread, biscuits, peppery spice and an earthy hop on the finish. Thinnish body, average carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Pretty decent.
