Red on red in the season of glee, comes a whispering wonder all tart under the tree. Joys of this bounty will surely surprise, sit back, relax and don’t summarize.
This sweet Belgian cherry treat comes to our table, with two strains of yeast not quite from a stable. Tart cherry, banana spice, light cocoa and warmth, explore this Grand Cru together with a friend named ummmm.. what rhymes with warmth?

Draught at the brewery (Jan 2018)
Amber color with red copper hue, just hazy. The aroma is very light, almost absent, some malt, very light fruit. Sweet, robust body; light malt flavor, very light fruit syrup, feeling of swamp water, lightly earthy in the finish.
Very mediocre base, and barely any fruit. Simple, boring.

Draft - Light black currant. Clear copper with a small white head. Clack currant and some light Belgian esters.

This is a fairly bland beer. Lightly phenolic, mellow cherry, touch of malt and a touch of alcohol. Not sure the restraint in a good thing - I like my cherry beers with bold, assertive fruit, and a much defined base.

On tap at 33 Acres, pours a hazy amber with a large beige head. Nose brings out Belgian yeast, light candied sugar and a hint of faded tart cherry. Flavour is very estery, with loads of bubblegum, candied sugar, light cherries and Belgian yeast. Quite aggressive carbonation upfront, but softens towards the back of the tongue. Too estery and sweet.
