Here at Russell Brewing. We've used a very traditional harvest ale, and made it even more seasonal with some real pumpkin and spices. This malt forward ale comes across sweet on the nose, roasted and festive on the pallet with a slightly spicy finish. It sound like a mouthful and it is! In honour of leaves falling and hockey starting, enjoy a beer with us.

Bottle - Malty brown sugar and pumpkin. Deep brown with a decent beige head. Dark cocoa and pumpkin with a touch of chocolate. Not bad.

Nice to see Surrey's finest still pounding out the unique brews. If any suburb of Canada needs a brewery that cares, it's Surrey, so good on Russell for keeping the flame flaming or something. This has an okay head and darker brown body. Aroma is some cloying coriander spice stuff like you get in your coffee, like mahgawd, at least your chunky suburban Surrey girlfriend will find it smelling tasty. Flavour is crisp barley with none of that other stuff showing through. Weak mouthfeel, could use more oiliness. Some exciting parts but the whole is lacking.

Dark amber-brown colour, not much head. Pumpkin, and some clove and other herbs on the nose, with some molassesy malt sugars. Decent example.
