A full on USA hop explosion, with Columbus, Williamette, Galaxy & Citra combining beautifully with clear Loch Ness Water & 'Nessie'- our very own yeast strain. Hits of bright gold, with pine & citrus aromas & flavours, balanced by a malty sweetness.

From tap at a Loch Ness hotel. Softly hoppy with fruity notes, some malt, bit floral, orange. Medium bitter with some sweetness as well. Not bad.

Old rating from 03-10-15 - Tasted at the Jersey CAMARA beer festival. Pours a golden orange colour with a white head. Aromas of fruity & spice. Tastes of sweet biscuit with a fair amount of malt, leading to pine & lots of hoppy overtones. Aftertaste is a good medium bitter finish. Overall a reasonable beer but a little heavy on the hops.

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 19 Nov 2023) Golden colour with creamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and resin. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin, pine needles and a generous citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and refreshing, with a fresh hop presence. Nice one.

Large foamy white head on an unclear finely carbonated golden coloured body. Malt, sweet, soapy & pine aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a foaming cloying back. Pine, grapefruit, lime & floral tastes with a bitter finish. Nice.

On cask at Lock Inn, Fort Augustus - hazy gold pour with a broken white top. Grassy hop nose with a slightly bitter palate. Bit of spruce and citrus on the tongue.

Bottle on 712 heading South, thanks to Timmy, 26/02/23. Clear golden with a just off white crown. Nose is pale malts, toasted grains, hint of orange, hedgerow. Taste comprises toasted grains, hint of melon, grass, herb, faint orange, light breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with modest hop bitterness. Passable pale ... lacks flavour and hop presence.

Clear golden colour with lasting fluffy head. There's a nice hop profile with a balance of piney base notes, well rounded floral notes and a lighter citrus peel element.
