Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 26/1/2016. Golden in colour with a decent, off-white, head. Sharp, lemon fruits, biscuity malts, lots of grassy hops and a dry finish. Good.

4 oz pour on cask at ChurchKey. Clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of light pepper, citrus, floral notes. Tastes of citrus, light floral notes, sweet malt, biscuit, toasty notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

Cask gravity at The Bell Ivychurch. Clear gold lasting white head. Yes hoppy. Yes brewed with a lot of hops. Leafy slightly citric. Lemon. Tart hops. Decent condition. Some bitterness on the finish. Just the right side of citric. Lime. OK though. Lots of hop.

500ml bottle. Clear, darkest golden to amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Piney, hoppy aroma, some pineapple as well, biscuity malty background. Taste is minimally sweet biscuity malty, piney hoppy overtones, a dry, woody touch, even a cautious touch of peanut. Lacks some intensity in taste.

Keg from Growler Beers and bottle from Aldi. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Light lacing. Aroma of autumn leaves, passionfruit, pineapple, orange marmalade and dusty malt. Flavour of orange, lime, underripe pineapple and peppery earth. Thin body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A nice British style IPA.

[ As Loch Ness Hoppy Ness ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, pine, hop fruit, hop oil notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, hop fruit, hop oil, hoppy, fruity, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130814]

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear gold. Big, bubbly, messy, sticky, white head. Buttery malts. Some lemon. Taste is sweet and buttery. Some grassy bitterness. Palate is all of that. Nah. Hard work, buttery and bitter. There’s nothing in between.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - floral with light citrus. Taste - interesting oranges with green stalky notes. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a good ale. Perhaps a touch too sweet and tangy on the finish.
