I have this 12 oz can from a brewer I am unfamiliar with that I bought earlier this year in Las Vegas. Typically, if the brew has been bourbon barrel aged, I will buy it. Bottom of the can indicates canning took place 10/3/19. Time to crack it open and tilt into my ABGB snifter. Delivery is a dark copper brown with a creamy medium head that is replenished by a steady effervescence. The nose gives a nice grain, booze and brown sugar indication. Ah, if only the taste could match up. Light milk chocolate, a bit of vanilla, caramel, malt and cereal. Just not finding as much bourbon as hoped. Oh well.

12oz can thanks to toby pours out brown topped with a small tan head. Nose is bourbon barrel notes sweet brown sugar and some roast. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate bourbon barrel notes and a little spice.

12 ounce can from somewhere in Wisconsin. Dark brown, thin fizzy tan head, fair retention. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, roast. Taste is roast, oak, bourbon, raisin. Thin. Both over-barreled and bland. How do you pull that off?

Can/Fest. A- Whisky, chocolate. A- Black body, black liquid, minimal head. T- Whisky, oak, booze. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, sharp finish. O- Haven't had the base beer so I can't comment on what the bourbon does for it. Overall, this was alright but I wanted more. Very heavily playing on the bourbon and provides a lot of booze. Just too much to be really great.
