Bottled@Delirium Café, Brussels. Hazy deep amber colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is wood, some fruity and mild floral and earthy notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, mild gluelike alcohol, some yeast and mild berries too.

0,3L bottle (from beerExpress, Tallinn). Pours golden with whiteish head. The head stays. Aroma is very sweet, fresh fruits, sugar, citrus, some banana, and spices. Flavor is sweet, fresh fruits, spices, and pepper. Finish has some dry bitterness. Overall: nice clean brew.

33 cl bottle @ Delirium Café, Brussels. BBE 10.04.2014. Aroma has apricot, biscuits and some toffee. Flavour has spicy tones, herbs, bush leaves and apricot. Also some mild berry juice and hints of cardboard. Leathery finish. A Belgian blonde on the dry side.

Fles 300cc met gewijzicht etiket. Licht troebel geel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bittter en zoet met sporen van vanille en anijs. Goed bier met goede smaak.

Bottle at Beer Passion 2014. Antwerp. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is big Belgian yeast, malt. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a light dry yeast mineral boozy alcohol palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A frothy Tripel, but not the greatest. I expected better from Affligem.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow-golden color, medium thick dense off-white head. Smell and taste malts, slightly some hops, lightly herbs or spices, lightly bitter. Quite highly carbonated, medium body.

Hazy golden - very lively carbonation that kicks up a frothy, well-sustained head - nose is floral, medium sweet (honey), with moderate muskiness, light esters, some flint/limestone character - despite the lively bubbles, the carbonation is soft in the mouth - moderately sweet malt gives way quickly to a medium dry flavors of wheat/grain, mineral, floral hops, moderate bitterness - sweetness returns for the finish and gets a little syrupy - there are also slight medicinal notes in the finish that increase as the beer warms - a surprisingly strong alcohol presence in the finish doesn’t help things - incrementally goes down hill - good thing I have some beer I know I like in the fridge for the remainder of this new year’s evening.
