Small but persistent white head; beer is cloudy orange with brown hints. Smelling the beer gives me a first association with pasta sauce; but then clearly peaches impose themselves - canned peaches to be true. There’s a fishy, salty taste there, which imposes itself, impeaching (!) any fruitiness. Gets sweeter in the aftertaste, all the same. Some slickness, good body. More peaches, less pasta sauce, please. Was: 6/4/4/3/10 - 2.7 New rating 2007 at Sherwood pub. Huge transparant-white head; cloudy yellow fruit-juice colour. Very spicy-fruity nose, old closets with forgotten dried fruit (apricots). Solvent, glue and faraway dried apricots. Very tart ending, puckering; Wry, dry-out effect. Longlasting fruit-accented dryness, not sweet, not bitter, not sour. Surprising beer. Not readily qualifyable.
