Birra raffinata, femminile, unica.

750 ml bottle shared by Marcus. Hazy peachy color with a white head that left rapidly. Light peach aroma. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. There’s some sour, some mild peach, some herbs, some peach pit and/or woodiness. A very quaffable drink. Light and refreshing. It definitely improves with time.

Bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville. Pours a hazy straw color with a medium fizzy head that quickly disappears. Tart aroma of peaches. Creamy peach taste with an acidic tartness to balance. Light and refreshing.

Another underappreciated beer. Had it once before at jjpm74’s gathering in the summertime, it was brought over by a friend of his. I was impressed at the time and I am glad I got a chance to revisit it. It pours the most pale of golden colors, points just for being so pale yet still golden. It’s murky, cannot see through it and yet it’s such a light color, just a "wow" special kind of appearance. Small head only keeps this from a score of 5. Aroma is very peach, not sweet artificial juice but the light sweet skin of the peach. Think tropical fruit without the sweetness. Taste is herbal-sweet-yeast. Mouthfeel is pillow-y on the cheeks, light, and so damn quaffable. Low, low bitterness, and a light milk sweet aftertaste. Nothing mind blowing, so not "Imperial" in any way but just so damn interesting and fun. If it wasn’t for the price I would want to drink this all the time.

2008-05-30, blind tasting at Yespr’s, 6-2-4-2-10=24
Cloudy blond color. Strong aroma of yellow fruits, mango peach and plums; vanilla perfume. Slim body, soapy flavor. The final is not very interesting.

20087-07-22, draught at Bi-Du Beer Fest, 7.5% ABV, 7-4-5-2-12=30
With Volpedo peach.

Cloudy blond color. Fruity aroma: dry apricots and medlar (nespole). Soft mouthfeel, some sweetness, but without any special flavor; too ordinary.

I really liked this. Not really a lambic but more of a fruit beer. Great packaging on this beer. Aroma is sugary and sweet; it smells like sour candy. Flavor is predominately peach, but lots of yeast and a little sourness in the aftertaste. Cloudy orange. Smooth, sweet, and very drinkable.
