Bottle - Light funk and aspirin. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Effervescent and light aspirin funk and a nice finish.

Bottle. Batch 1. Amber beer with a big cream head. Tart and citrus aroma. Tart and light sour flavor with light yeast and citrus. Medium bodied. Yeast and tartness lingers with light earth and citrus.

750 ml bottle. The beer is a light tannish yellow color. Opaque with haze. Big white head, puffy with big clouds of bubbles sticking to the sides of the glass. The aroma has a big fresh grain aroma. Some crackery sweetness. Hops add in some grassy and citric flavors. Fresh cut clippings with a limey sparkly edge. Light oak and a gentle vinous note. Earthy saison yeastiness - the yeast is actually the downside for me; it’s just a bit ho hum normal saison territory. Taste is fairly dry. Some light simple sweetness up front. Moderate bitterness with a nice hit of oak in the finish. A little bit of body to it but fairly light on its feet. Refreshing. Doesn’t beat you over the head with the barrel. It just could use a little more yeast depth but it’s a good beer.
