2011 bottle shared by Leighton at Croydonia tasting. It pours cloudy deep mahogany with a medium beige head. The nose is earth, toast, wood, varnish, stewed orange, tangerine and a touch of sherbet even. The taste is light roast, caramel, fudge, toffee, toast, earth, orange, dried fruit and alcohol warmth. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Not too bad at all...

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear cloudy chestnut brown with a frothy off-white head. The aroma is rich and alcoholic, with fruit and malt. The flavour is bitter with alcoholic liqourice which tends to dominate and burns a little on the palate. This beer is not really a favourite.

This beer was said to be a new one, but I guess it might very well be the same as the regular Zuster Agatha. Hazy brownish color, medium to full sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly dark fruits, some sweet-bitterness, caramel. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Earlier Rating: 7/26/2011 Total Score: 3.7Lightly hazy brown colored beer. Smell malts and caramel. Good carbonation and body. Nice beer.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2013) Dark red colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of red berries, caramel and dried fruit. Malty, fruity taste with red fruit, caramel, cherries and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, fairly sweet. Nice one.

31/XII/12 - 33cl bottle from Mitra van Bergen (Eindhoven) @ home - BB: 22/VI/17 (2012-1448)

Clear ruby red beer, small sediment floating around under a huge fluggy yellow beige head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweet, caramel, bit nutty, milk chocolate, bit earthy. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of chocolate, bit sugary, some mocha, cocoa powder, sweet touch, citrus, pretty bitter as well. Aftertaste: dark chocolate, fruity, dried fruits, little soapy, some citrus, quite some banana.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Bert’s Bierhuis. Light red brown with a beige head. Spicy aroma with lots of molasses and caramel. Taste is not as sweet as expected, quite bitter with chocolate notes in the finish. Aftertaste is also quite bitter and lasting. Great quadrupel!
