Light amber with big fluffy unstable off white head. Massive hops with tropical fruits, tangerine, lime, flowery and light resin. Then a light malty body with a touch of nuts and caramel, but the whole ale is quite thin and dry and the malt backbone takes a backseat. Therefore mainly bitter and slight tartness and the sweetness is very light. Light to medium bodied with quite a lot of carbonation. Pretty nice stuff for the abv.

50 cl. bottle split by 3 @ “Memorabel Tastingkje”. Thanks to tderoeck! Average creamy off-white head. Good lacing, lightly cloudy amber. Nose is typical pine resin & grapefruit peel hops mixed with some herbal notes (les usual) touch more malt presence, cereal. Taste is touch sugar, bread, cereal + 50/50 herbal + pine & grapefruit peel hops, herbal lingers more in the finish, faint vanilla upfront. Medium body, touch malt feel, good carbonation. Standard fare but well-done and definitely satisfactory.

Clear bright orange beer, big aery yellowish head, little stable, adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, lots of passion fruits, pineapple, citrus, very sweet. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, malty start, piny bitterness, citrus, bit grassy. Aftertaste: bitter, nice hops, bit piny, grassy, citrus.

Taste: a strange acidic bite at the start, despite the low carbonation, tropical, fruit, low-to-moderate bitter finish. medium body. Nice, but not earth shattering.

Botella se 50 cl en el lúpulo en el momento el 26-06-2014. Lote 1049d elaborada en 17-10-2013, hasta 17-10-2014. color ámbar anaranjado con poca espuma blanca, casi ninguna. Aromas maltosos y lupulados con ciertos tonos de cítricos, mandarina y piel de naranja. Cuerpo medio con 4.5 vol. Sabores maltosos con toques de mandarinas y piel de naranja con amargo resinosa acentuado que dura en boca un buen rato. Buena, para repetir, gran sabor para el volumen alcohólico que trae.

Tap at Mikkeller Bangkok on the tap takeover/meet the brewer evening. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is tropical fruit citrus malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a light dry spicy pepper hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle at home. Batch 996 BBE 12/07/14. Massively over-carbonated. Poured into three separate pint glasses due to excess foaming. Clearest of three three was amber, big white head. Yeasty aromas with a touch of Brett. Pine and tropical fruit from the hops. Taste is bitter and dry. Not there best by some margin.
