4 pack at home. Dark pour fine head. Nose is char and light chocolate. Tastes similar some licorice and fish scales. Thinner bodied.

Taster pour on tap at the brewery. Appearance is very dark brown root beer-cola with no discernible sparkle, ring of beige head with excellent retention. Aroma is strong roasted malts. Taste is strong roasted malts and mild earthiness. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, velvety texture and finish as taste. Overall, not complex but solid.

Can from Brewdog Lothian Rd, Edinburgh. Appearance - opaque black and shiny. Fawn to brown head. Nose - dark rich chocolate. Creamy. Hint of coffee. Taste - creamy chocolate, maybe some hazelnut. Palate - medium bodied, creamy. Fairly dry finish. Overall - good.

Can from Brewdog Lothian Road. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of coffee and chocolate, light roast. Taste is creamy, dark chocolate, light roast. Decent porter.

From a 16oz can. Poured a very dark cola color with a small, wispy head. Aroma was roasted malts, some nutty malts. Coffee roast. Chocolate, easy to drink. Decent.
