Tasting at Erik's, can
Black color. Dirt aroma, cardboard, wet malts. Dry mouthfeel, a bit of roasted malts, little chocolate, swampy water, light sourness.
Not even a real Porter. Not convincing.

16 oz. can, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma is quite dry, with toasted malt and some oats. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt, dry oats and a hint of a metallic character. Dry and nicely structured. Solid.

Medium brown. Not much head. Has a mellow cocoa aroma, with a light chocolate note. Light body, with a chocolate note. OK, a relatively thin porter...has a light nuttiness. OK.

Pours mahogany tinged deep brown into an English pint. Creamy tan head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Sweet chocolate, vanilla and espresso aromas. Medium bodied with milk chocolate and espresso upfront turning dry in the medium length slightly charred finish. Nice.

16 oz. can another share by T.J., thanks bud! Black color, some lasting head and lace. Aroma is mild roast, coffee, light roasted nuts.
Taste is mild and gentle roast with mild chocolate, hint of toasted nuts, earthy grain. Shows a medium body with a mellow roasted aftertaste. Pretty good.
