Forces of evil brought about a change in the original label for this beer, but we fought back with Crasher to keep that evil at bay and create a new version of this beer. Brewed exclusively for the Beer Advent Calendar of Craft Beer Importers of Canada, we tweaked the original recipe and created an imperial oatmeal stout without smoked malts, and added fresh orange zest for a unique twist!

Mild on the orange aroma as well as the lactose, for which I'd like more of to give a fuller creamier body to balance the strength of the roast. 2017 advent calendar.

355ml bottle. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, short lived, brown head that laces. Sweet aroma of orange peel, dark chocolate and roasted malt. Sweet flavour of orange zest, dark chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of smoke with warming booze in a dry, mildly bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Overall I would say the original (Undead Party Crasher) was better, but this is still pretty good.

Black color. Strong candied orange aroma, chocolate. Medium body strength, some chocolate, some orange.
Good, but gimmicky beer.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with orange zest upfront, followed by toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of orange zest, followed by cocoa and toasted malt. Bitter, orangey finish. Not usually a fan of this combo, but it works.

Dark brown. Thin head. There's some stout, some orange. Rich chocolate cake, touch of orange, actually not bad. Decent body, good balance. An orangey finish, again doing that chocolate-orange thing. It works in this beer more than in actual chocolates, so have to give them credit for that.

Bottle - Marmalade and chocolate and stout. Jet brown with a small beige head. Dark and marmalade fruity notes. Orange and chocolate come through nicely.
