This beer is another one of those beers that has been around since our early years. Though, it has gone through some changes over time. We wanted to brew an American IPA. We wanted it to have and aroma from which you could pick up everything that you like with the style. To achieve this, we hopped and dry-hopped it with five, high alpha acid, American hops. And, almost by default, it got its name. High Five! Initially, this beer clocked in at 7.5%. But in order to make it a little lighter we took it down to 6.5.%. And, while the hops are still the same, we've increased the amount of hops and dry-hops numerous times. Because, times change. And, even though you got a hop-punch from this in 2007, the amount of hops in it then would not have given you one now. But since it's more, a lot more, you do!

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Lots of lumps. A few clingy, white bubbles for a head. Lots of pink grapefruit pithiness. Lots of peach, and peach stone. Some watermelon. In other words, very fruity. Lovely, chewy, sweet, grainy malt backdrop. Fresh, and lively. Taste is sweet, light dry, and citric pithy bitter. Fresh palate, but with a nice level of hop greasiness. Finishes pithy bitter, with a lip coating sweetness. Silly easy drinking.

Draught @ What’s Brewing 2014, Stavanger
Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, orange, grape and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long citrus and grape fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at What’s Brewing 2014, Stavanger. Pours hazy dark golden. Aroma of herbs, liquid pitch, glue and very little rubber. Quite sweet, well balanced with bitterness. Some hops aroma, but not much.

Bottle Pours full orange-ish , rather small white head Smell is amarillo . Taste is very intense, hoppy, amarillo but doesnt drink like a single hop . got some dry, fruity aspects ( simcoe ????) Full mouthfeel, perfect carbo . Ending is rather weak . Good one . But with so many competition in IPA’s , its just not damn good enough to stand out

Tap@Fermentoren, CPH - orange coloured pour with a medium off-white head. Sweet fruity, malty aroma and taste, strong citrus hit, mandarin/lemon peel, high initial sugar rush, impressive hidden abv, great bitter finish. Nice.
