375 ml bottle. Black color with beige brown head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, cocoa, fruity, coffee, spicy, some wood notes. Sweet and bitter like aroma but even better, milk chocolate, cocoa, chili. Full silky body with soft carbonation.

37cl bottle. Pitch black with a medium height, fine-grained tan head with excellent retention. Smells like cocoa, milk coffee, chocolate, roasted malts and burnt caramel. Sweet up front, with notes of milk chocolate, cappuccino, cocoa, followed by cherries and a hot chili feeling. Barwa niemalże czarna, ze sporą, beżową pianą, która dobrze się trzyma i osadza w snifterze. W aromacie istna nawałnica ciemnych jak noc aromatów - przede wszystkim czekolada, kawa, sporo paloności, nieco ciemnych owoców, marzepanu, nutka też rumu. W smaku spora słodycz, wręcz uderzenie czekolady, zarówno tej słodkiej, jak i deserowej, nutki kawowe, spora dawka paloności i pralin oraz śliwki, wszystko zwieńczone średniowysoką goryczką, po trochę chmielową i paloną, czuć też trochę papryczek, ale bez przesady, nie pieką w gardle jakoś szczególnie. Treściwość kolosalna, bardzo pełne, wysycenie niskie, moc nieźle ukryta, a pije się bardzo dobrze, jak czekoladę w płynie. Potęga wśród piw.

0.375 l bottle from ’drankgigant.nl’ at 12.2% abv. Pitch black with a medium large, creamy, slowly diminishing, light brown head. Sweetish, roasty, slightly fruity and rather boozy aroma of dark chocolate, molasses, some coffee, licorice, red berries and booze. Sweet, roasty-malty taste of dark chocolate, molasses, tar, licorice, some coffee and red berries, followed by a long, roasty-bitter, slightly peppery and a little boozy finish. Medium to full body, thick and oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. The peppers are fortunately not too strong, but sufficient to balance the otherwise overwhelming sweetness. Quite complex, but not sophisticated enough. Still good of course.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; dark brown pour with a frothy beige head, aroma has chocolate, dark fruit, taste has some wine action, a hint of chocolate, some spirit.

Big heat with the ABV and the chilies. Juicy pepper in the aroma. Pretty tasty. Rich cocoa tones, not unlike most Scandinavian stouts. The pepper adds some nice depth. Vegetal pepper tones last into the aftertaste. Quite a solid beer.

Tap (ZUP, Wroclaw). Piwo niemal czarne, nieprzejrzyste z brazowa piana, slaba i szybko redukujaca sie praktycznie do zera. Aromat slodki, czekoladowy z nuta likieru i wisni w czekoladzie oraz nuta palona w tle, coraz wyrazniejsza w miare uplywu czasu. Calosc dosc intensywna i bardzo przyjemna dla zmyslu powonienia. Czekoladowe w smaku, przesycone delikatna nuta szlachetnego alkoholu, likieru z wyrazna ale nieprzeszkadzajaca, palona goryczka. Alkohol przyjemnie rozgrzewa a chili delikatnie drapie w gardle ale bez zadnej agresji, jedynie zaznaczona obecnosc ostrych papryczkek. Oleista konsystencja sprawia ze piwo dokladnie oblepia podniebienie i pozostawia dluuugi slodki posmak z malutkim ostrym kwaskiem na finiszu. Tresciwe i pijalne jak na swoja moc, przyjemne w odbiorze.
