Tap at Salon Piva. Ejfekete szinu, bezs habbal. Illatra tomenytelem mennyisegu etcsoki, kave, nemi mogyoro es a hatterben kellemesen meghuzodo csili is megjelenik.

Well stored bottle. Black body with a nice, dense beige head that lasts for a long time. Nice aroma, strong, dark malt, alcohol, wood, vanilla and some coffee. Flavor is sweet, rich, dark malt, some wood and vanilla in the background, quite boozy in a nice way, some licorice as well but I was not able to detect any chilly. Might have lost most of its power by 4-5 years. Fine body and long lasting warming alcoholic aftertaste. A solid one, quite boozy but seems to balance it somehow.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark malt with lots of chili peppers, green chili, chocolate, roast, syrupy notes, and soy sauce. Flavour is quite sweet with some bitterness and a nice chili burn. Body is full. On the sweet side, but nice use of chili peppers, hot & heavy.

Bottled. Opaque black colour with a creamy beigeish brown longlasting head. Aroma is roasted malts, coconut, chocolate, some roasted tones with mild creamy and some slight berryish tones. Flavour is roasted malts, coconut, chocolate, cream, mild chili with some peppery, wooden and mild tart wooden tones. Good balance, and hides the abv very well.

Bottle from Deconinck. Hazy black, stable, small, foamy, beige head. Aroma of date, prune, dark fudge, mocha, meringue, biscuit, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, leather, vanilla, alcohol. Taste has sweet date, plum & fig, toffee note on a biscuity-toasty malty base, bitter coffee & something sweet-salty umami in the middle, reminiscent of the Worcestershire in the aroma, touch of vanilla cream too. Peppery hoppy finish, vague chili & toast sufficiently drying out the sweet dried fruit, vanilla note again as well as warming whisky-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Just the right amount of chili here, the full-fledged Stout profile is what makes this beer excellent.
