Black colour with creamy brownish head. Soft roastiness and a bit of chocolate, but most of all, very smooth, hence probably the reason for calling it "sessionable".
Very good.

On tap at the brewery. Nice creamy black body with small beige head. Aroma is creamy coffee and chocolate. Flavour is nice sweet coffee with chocolate syrup notes. Not complicated but very drinkable and the abv is well hidden.

On tap at Trading Post, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of roasted barley, with a heart oat character and a touch of cocoa. Flavour is robust, with a very big roasted malt character, hearty oats and light cocoa. Robust and lightly sweet, with ample bitterness on the finish. This is excellent.

Bottle, Legacy. Black. Thin, bubbly head. The aroma is chocolatey, touch oaky, with a burnt toasty wood character. For the style, body is light, but it does bring some toasty notes, dried fruit, burnt fruit, and a touch of dark sugars. Maybe some coffee. This one comes as advertised. Nice brew. I like the drinkability.

Bottle - Lots of toast and roast with a nice hop note. Jet black with a rich light brown head. Silky on the tongue. Bitter and roasty chocolate with some toast. Nice.
