75 cl bottle @ hotel room, Rome. BBE 10.12.2015
Aroma is somewhat musty with strawberries, toffee, caramel and hay. Flat palate, low on CO2. Flavour has strawberries, grapefruit, caramel, toffee and gluey notes. Finishes with woody notes and tobacco(!). Too much strawberries here.

A dark, reddish brown beer with an almost medium and beige head. Strongly aromatic aroma that is different than any other beers that I have tasted. Rich, great, strongly fruitful with sweet berries. Sweet papaiyas, fructose, fruit candies, raspberries and strawberries. Taste has same sweet fruits and berries as in the aroma, some pine needles and citrusfruits. Balanced sweetness of fructose. Strong body, low carbonation, not sticky. The great beer that was surprising as it’s unique flavours. Balanced, fruit-berry mix with enough of bitterness.

On tap, at Haand Festival 2015. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a creamy off-white head. The aroma has caramel malts in the back, with dried fruits, pine cones and resins. It’s a bit sweet on the palate and lacking on bitterness, but there’s a nice malty backbone and lovely flavors of resins and pine cones. It’s full-bodied and lightly warming, with a pleasant carbonation level. Overall, a nice beer indeed, but I find it too sweet and malty. 140524

Amber with an off white head - Malt with a good hop aroma with fruits - Good malt to support a good hop profile withj fruits, grass and a nice bitterness - The hops and bitterness goes into the finish - this was good

Bottle. Brewtique, Macclesfield. 8.5%. Hazy, dark copper colour. Film of sticky, off white head. Big, minty, herby, toffee aroma. Fairly resinous. Dank, and fusty. Verges on the medicinal. Beautifully aromatic. Taste is light, spicy dry, with an orange pith, and orange zest, soft bitterness. Palate is rich, oily, and smooth. Finishes long, light, zesty bitter. So tasty. Beautifully balanced. Wow. I like this a lot!

Doften Dov något komplex lite jordkällare. Krämig känns den är jövligt Ofiltrerat. Inga speciellt fräscha Dipa smaker. Nya ok IPA man inte behöver dricka igen. 9% hindrar ju andra öl testas.

Bottle at beer dudes tasting at Appellation Wines Comely Bank thanks to James Tulloch. Appearance - amber to chestnut with a thin head. Nose - earthy and spicy with some fruit cake. Taste - tobacco more fruit cake and candied fruit. Palate - medium to full bodied with a dry texture and a long dry finish. Overall - needs to be more bitter for this style I think. That said it’s a decent ESB.

Bottle from The Beerhive, tasting at Appellation Wines. Hazy chestnut body with a thin beige head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of caramel, orange and a hint of filter coffee. Flavour of fig biscuits, sweet caramel and earth. Bitter finish. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel Soft fizz. A bit too sweet for my liking. Lacks hop character.
