3 Fonteinen Hommage is the result of macerating hand-picked whole sour cherries and raspberries on young lambic for at least four months, in a proportion of 760 to 800 grams of raspberries and 200 to 240 grams of sour cherries per litre of lambic. This fruit lambic is then blended again with more lambic to obtain a minimum intensity of 35% fruit. Hommage is a bodied raspberry lambic beer, with an intense deep red forest fruit bouquet. This unfiltered and unpasteurised lambic is all-natural with no artificial juices, syrups, or sugars added.

Pours a pink amber; small white head with pink notes. Intense raspberry aroma, loads of acetic acid as well though. harsh and powerfull, but far from balanced or smooth. Taste is acetic, dry, very woody. Earthy raspberry, not as aromatic as desired or expected. Cherry blends into the back. Unfortunately, like many F raspberry beers, this is just way to acetic acid focussed.

375ml green corked and caged bottle. (Blend no. 71, season 19/20). 5.5% abv. Pours a hazy orange red with a small, short lived, off-white head that leaves spotty lacing. Fruity aroma of grainy wheat, cherry, raspberry, funky yeast and oak. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat, raspberry, cherry, balsamic vinegar and oak in a dry, sour, acidic finish. Medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Lots of complexity. Excellent.

Stingy, tart and funky with some farmyard and sourness, fruity raspberry and cherry jam notes. A bit stuffy

Really nice, though a bit murky and chewy. Fruit is mild but fresh light and refreshing quenching. 3 fonteinen brewery
