Bottle. Pours clear chestnut with a reddish hue, small beige head, dissipates to a ring with decent lacing. Aroma is woody, cherry, vinous notes. Flavor is light tart, hints of cherries, lots of oak tannin and wine notes. Medium body, low carbonation. Not bad.

Tasting at Matt's
Red-amber color. Nice aroma, cherries, a bit vinous. Bone dry, some cherry flavor, but not much depth, moderate acidity. More fruit beer than Red Sour.

Draft - Sour cherry and bright balsamic. Clear orange with a small white head. Soured light cherry, touch acidic and a light berry finish.

375mL bottle, pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma reveals dried tart cherries, red wine barrels, and wood. Flavour is along the same lines, with tart dried cherries, moderate acidity, and some red wine tannins. Oaky, tannic and moderately acidic. Not particularly complex, but it's nicely balanced. Good stuff.

Bottle at DRBT. Pours a hazy orange with frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is cherry skin, grapes, oak. Thin body, tart cherry, wood, funky, light dry finish, very nice.

Batch 2 - taster at the brewery - turbid pinkish beer, with a light pink head - supposedly their quad with cherries and hibiscus - nose is lovely - moderate lactic acid and a touch of acetic acid - cherry pie filling - savory character - tart and acidic without being overly sour or abrasive - while cherry flavor, brine - mild cheese rind funkiness - white wine tannins - quite lovely, really.
