Can from Trader Joe's in Davis, CA. Pours copper/amber with a largish foamy near-white head that laced somewhat. Aroma has a little malt and some citrus/resin. Med plus body. Not as dry as an IPA ought to be perhaps, but there's so much resin and bitterness that it all works nicely together. Resin, citrus/orange, melon. Malt is unpale caramel. In the finish my mouth says resin/dry. Don't know where the malt went. Firmly flavored good stuff.

Tasting at Matt's
Amber color, hazy, dull, small head. Very malty, with caramel, moderately sweet, with resiny and orangey hops.
Old style IIPA, but competently brewed.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, sugary caramel and candied sugar. Flavour is quite sweet, with candied sugar, resinous hops, and caramel malts. Quite sweet, a bit too much so. Decent.

Bottle - Sweet caramel notes. Clear copper with a small white head. Sweet caramel and bitterness with a bit of a dry finish. Old school.

Amber, no head. This has a nice fruity aroma, apricot. On the palate, it has a nice bitterness, piney, bright citrus. The malts are a bit heavy, but the hops are bright and tasty.

Poured up at Ratebeer Best 2017 Beer Fest where it exhibits a near clear deep gold body that has copper hues blended into a bit of haziness and supporting a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up mild pineapple notes, a bit of grapefruit, kind of little bit of danky spicy hops and then a hop grassiness. Nice. The taste delivers kind of a sliver of pine hop bitterness and then bitter grapefruit and pineapple that gets somewhat juicy to midway. A few more sips reveals how well balanced this is for a ‘sink your teeth into it’ resiny bitter hop brew. Nice.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is pine and citrus. Medium body, grapefruit, pine, lingering bitterness, very good.
