Niemcy to jest kraina przepysznych pszeniczniakow, zwlaszcza Bawaria. A tu w polowie nie jest tak smaczne to amerykanskie piwo. Jedyne co cieszy to spora piana ale strasznie gruboziarnista jest. Trwala jest ale za to smak juz nie taki trwaly w ustach nie pozostawia zbyt wiele poza posmakiem musu bananowego, sporo drozdzy i metnosci, ale te drozdze w smaku nie daja polepszenia w smaku. Ozezwiajaze i przy tym za malo tresciwe. Jasne w porownaniu do bawarskich pszenicznych, bardziej moim zdaniem zblizone do belgijskich wit.

Bottle at De Molen, November 2013 Second Tuesday Tasting. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a round white head. The aroma is super rich fruit malt wheaty yeast. The flavour is acidic sweet a little alcoholic tasting. Medium bodied, weak oily texture, flat carbonation. Reminded me of Lucozade without the bubbles.

Bottle shared at the De Molen monthly tasting. Pours clear dark golden with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel, yeast, spice and fruit. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter nice flavor. Strong fruity esters. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice hefe.

Bomber bought @ bierkompass.de. Pours tiny hazy golden with a frothy and fizzy goldenish white head that quickly dissipates while leaving almost no trace at all on the glass. Smell is typical heft with wheat crackers, lemon juice, cloves, banana bread, coriander, oatmeal cookies, lemon zest and dusty dry cereal. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly sour and tiny bitter with wheat crackers, banana bread, lemon juice, lemon zest, hay, cilantro, cloves, lemon balm, cereal, lemon zest and parsley. Mouthfeel is soft, sparkling, tiny tart, tiny cloying and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly sour with wheat crackers, lemon juice, cookie dough, banana bread, lemon zest and hints of green herbs and hay. Starts good but each sip after the first turns more cloying and after a while it’s enough. Hoppin’ Frog is a great brewery but this is a style I don’t think they quite master yet...

A dark yellow beer with a big and blond head. The nose is strongly fruitfull, mandarin, wheat, marshmellows and sweetness. Taste is strongly fruitfull, lots of mandarin, wheat and sourness, some marshmellows, lots of citrusfruity bitterness, that dries the end. Medium bodied, high carbonation, refreshning. Not very typical hefe, but US style, but this is still quite nice. Mandarin and citrusfruits are dominating.

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, yeast, wheat, fruit and a little banana. Flavour is malt, yeast, wheat, little over carbonated, banana, fruit, hop, little sweet and medium bitter.

Bottle @ DØE tasting. Hazy yellow with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, wheaty, banana, yeasty and citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Sweet and light acidic finish. 200213
