Poured from 473mL can. Cloudy gold with white head. Light tropical with a touch of dankness, muted resinous finish. This beer seems a bit confused - some brightness, some muted subtleness - not cohesive.

On tap at the brewery. Nice foggy yellow body and a bit of foam. Soft hop aroma. Flavour is good sharp hops and heavy juiciness. Crisp finish. Very hoppy for a pale ale, missing malt character, but still good.

Tall can from the JAK's New West. Pours a murky golden with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruits. Similar taste with some hoppy bitterness and malty notes. Not bad.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, as "Dry Hopped Blonde Ale"
Murky blond color. The aroma is fruity, the body is lean, dry but not weak; it's a bit chalky.
Good.

Can - Fresh citrus and tropical fruit. Hazy gold with a frothy white head. Citrus and some tropical fruit with a huge hit of bitterness and a reasonable finish. That mid bitterness is very overwhelming.

On tap at VCBW Festival 2017, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out considerable tropical fruitiness and dank piney hops. Flavour is fairly harsh, with tropical fruity pithiness and dank hops. Fairly abrasive and astringent, but it works decently well. Not bad.

Can from Legacy. Cloudy and light tan. The nose has some nice hop, but also some diacetyl. On the palate, moderate bitterness, some light citrusy hop. Not much diacetyl on the palate, so less than the aroma. But there is something a little bit muted about this beer - whether it’s that touch of butter or just a general want for brightness, it’s a beer that feels like it could and should be better. New brewery, obviously their first go at canning, so I’m sure I’ll re-rate this on tap at the brewery, which might make a difference.
re rate knocked a point off the appearance and that’s it.
