Bottle. Black with small beige head. Coffee, walnuts, marzipan, black currant, cocoa powder, light herb candy. Quite dry and powdery with medium sweetness at first going into roasted bitterness. Doesn't seem like 11% ABV at all. Good beer.

33cl bottle. Batch 2014-225. Pours black in color, espresso head. Aroma has coffee, dark fruity, Port wine notes, licorice. Full bodied. Quite unusual porter really. Flavor has licorice, ash, roasted malt, strong coffee, molasses. Bitter finish, ashy. Alcohol completely hidden without being too sweet either. Sipper, to be enjoyed in small doses.

Colour pitch black, one finger creamy mocha colored head, recedes after a while to a thick layer, good lacing. Aroma sweet malty, roasty, chocolate, dark fruits, raisins, salty liquorice (zoute drop), peat. Taste moderate sweetbitter, roasty, chocolate. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, finish dry bittersweet with coffee bitterness and fruity sweetness, peppery and clove notes. Impressive porter.
