De Goede Raat is een amberkleurig bier met lindehoning van de Houtense imkerij Two Bee. Honingbier is niet per se zoet. De suikers van de honing worden omgezet in alcohol. Wel zijn in de nasmaak honingtonen te proeven. Het alcoholpercentage is 7,5%. Echt een bier om even de tijd voor te nemen.

Hop: Brewers Gold, Northern Brewer, Hallertau Hersbrücker en Saphir.

Trübe dunkel orangegoldene Farbe, geringe beige Schaumkrone. Geruch süß malzig, Honig, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack süß nach Honig, sehr malzig, gering getreidig, dezent alkoholisch.

Fonefan 241014. Pale amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is malt, honey, vegetables, yeast, alcohol. Flavour is the same. Weird beer.

Bottle 300ml. [ As Hommeles Goede Raat ].Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, vegetables, honey, light roasted. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, honey, cabbage water, vegetables, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is fizzy - soft. [20141024]

Bottle 330ml @ fonefan
Pours clear orange/copper with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, alcohol and cooked vegetables. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, cooked vegetable and caramel finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy amber red with a dense off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, honey and vegetables. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish with a little warming alcohol. 241014

Bottle. It pours an almost clear one, dark golden to amber in color and with a dense, two-finger light beige head. Lacings. The aroma has yeast, cooked vegetables, some roasted malts and acetone notes. It’s quite warming on the palate, with lots of carbonation. Medium body, quite dryish. Roasted malts, some yeast and a nice bitterness in the flavor. Lasting finish with roasted malts and a decent bitterness. Not very good this one, but sort of drinkable. 141024

Bottle from Mitra Tiel. Amber coloured with a beige head. Nose is malty, caramel, bit of honey, slightly yeasty. Flavour is caramel malts, honey, candied sugar, bit of yeast. Medium carbonation, slight bitterness.

@UBF14, helder amber met witte kraag. In het aroma is direct de honing ter herkennen, verder wat hooi/stro, smaken zijn zoals te verwachten een honing zoetigheid, redelijk bitter, caramel, moutig, en stevig kruidig, medium body, redelijk co2, aardig maar ik zal er denk ik niet weer een flesje voor gaan halen voor thuis.

It’s a honeybeer, so it’s sweet and sugary. Nothing to balance the sweetness though.
