Boom. You can't get more blackberry than this, a balance of tart apple flavor, blackberry juice, and much more than a touch of black, juicy, magic.

Mooch tasting at Matt's
Dark blood color with small pink head. Aroma of cherry ice cream and lemonade. Highly carbonated, tastes like carbonated berry syrup. Some astringency.
Weird.

Dark purple. The aroma is dark berry...but kind of generic berry. I say this in the peak of blackberry season when I’m having good berries...this is simple. The palate shows way more depth, with really nice tart, balanced blackberry character, and underlying juicy sweet apple. Would this cider be good without the berries? Tough to say, but it’s a decent foil for the blackberry character.

22 oz. bottle, pours a very dark mahogany / dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out loads of blackberry pith and a touch of acidity. Flavour is nicely constructed, with loads of blackberries, light pith, moderate sweetness and a hint of acidity. Wonderful depth to this. The blackberries are very prominent. Pithy, lightly sweet palate. Really good.

At the brewery. I can see why this is a top cider. Pours a very dark purple color with some bubbles. A big deep berry nose. Tart berries and apples, sweeter notes come in big, not sugary. Very flavorful. Great.

Sampled at Meriwether during RBSG. Color is dark red, purple. Big time fruity aroma of blackberries, sweet and tart. Light apple flavor and lots of sweet tart blackberries. Finishes with a nice crisp end. Mild acidity. Really nice.
