Grand Teton Grapefruit Gose (say, "goes-uh") is the ideal summer beer: light-bodied, low in alcohol, very flavorful, and thirst-quenching. This beer is the little brother to our gold medal winning Gose released in Summer 2016. We brewed it following traditional German practices and added our own flair: the right amount of natural Yellowstone Mineral Salt and one half pound of Ruby Red Grapefruit puree per gallon of beer. Our brewers masterfully blended these important ingredients to make Grapefruit Gose the perfect summer beer.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh coriander upfront, with some grapefruit, a very nice saltiness, coriander and light lacto. Really nice balance of flavours. This works great.

Pours a hazy lemon yellow/orange, minimal head of foam.
Grapefruit aroma, wheat, lacto tartness.
Taste is delicious. Just the right injection of grapefruit offering mild bitterness that complements the light tartness.

Bottle from Boise Co-op. Haxy golden, with small, soft head. Aroma is gentle citrus. Taste too is more citrus, and very lightly salted. A bit too subdued for my taste.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle, bottled Jun 8, 2017, poured into a glass. Hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is light grapefruit, light body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is slightly tart light grapefruit and some salt.

Draft @ Barrel House. Pours a bright golden orange color with a light haze. Mild aroma is citrus and light wheat with a light brine. Taste is refreshingly sweet and tart, light salt. Grapefruit and brine with just a little Berliner wheat. Just right for the summer heat.

355ml bottle. Pours a cloudy straw colour with a medium, frothy, short lived, white head that fully dissipates. Aroma of grainy wheat malt, grapefruit and salt. Sweet flavour of wheat malt and grapefruit with a dry, salty, tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing.
