Een heerlijk fris, zacht fruitig tarwebier van hoge gisting. Een echte dorstlesser bij zomerse temperaturen. Ons bier is ongefilterd en niet gepasteuriseerd.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, short living head. Starts mild, modest yeasty, dry, more and more fruity-zippy with notes of lemon. Finish milder, less dry, a bit boring. But still okay.

Bottled. A murky dark golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of rotting hay, malt, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of wet hay, spices, malt, and yeast, leading to a dry yeasty finish. A bit off.

Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with only a tiny white film of a head. Medium body, heavy yeast aroma. Medium body, heavy yeast, clove and sime phenollic esters. Ends dryish. Clearly more of a Hefeweizen than a Wit. 080512

Bottled 300ml (BB 10/2011)
Thanks bierkoning! Slightly golden color, small white head. Aroma has lots of DMS, cardboard and some banana. Light bodied, very foamy mouthfeel. Cardboard, white pepper, green beans in the flavor. Some fruity banana notes. Perhaps more German weizen than witbier. And a bit too old bottle too.
