Op tap bij Maallust. Troebel donkergele kleur, witte kraag. Banaan, kruidnagel, tarwe, redelijk zoet, wat waterige finish. Degelijke Weizen.

Bottle brought back from the brewery - thanks, mom & dad! Pours hazy ochre with a quickly thinning, frothy, white head. Aroma of clove, pepper, wheat, apple peel, banana, honey. Taste is light fruity sweet, ripe apple & rather subtle banana over bready & honey malts, quite bitter spices pairing with sourish wheat (invigorated by the carbonation) & a herbal touch. Dry, spicy, grassy hoppy finish, more wheat & dried apple peel. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. To be preferred over the industrial Dutch Hefeweizens... but not much more.
