Malty, plenty of pineapple marmalade. Old school double IPA. Pours clear golden in colour. Matliness kicks around in your mouth for a bit on aftertaste. Can.
Thanks Heffner!

25/4/2025. Can shared by Colin, cheers. Pours almost clear dark orange amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is grainy, piney, citrus, orange, stone fruits. Moderate sweetness, quite bitter. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Old school. Likeable.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Somewhat grainy malts, a little cereal sweetness. Okay citrus hops, a little floral and not the brightest. Jammy citrus and a little peel on the light and semi dry finish. Some modest hop spice indicates this is not that old but it does taste a bit weary.

Can from the LCBO. The LCBO strikes again. This tastes OLD. The hops have turned, the beer is sweet, burnt brown sugar notes, sticky malts. Sweet hop notes, light pine. Meh. I bet this was quite nice when it was fresh, but now its stale and old. I'm sure it sat in a warehouse for 4 months for the LCBO to test it. well done!

Can at home, from Craft Central.ie, 23/02/2025.
Almost clear golden orange topped with a lasting white head.
Nose is bitter orange, grapefruit, pine needle, melon, mandarin.
Taste comprises bitter orange, pine nip, grapefruit, pineapple, grass, citric tinged straw.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close punctured with lightly aggressive juice laden hop bitterness.
A fairly basic and old skool DIPA in this day and age but ultimately nothing wrong with it and better than the scores suggest for me.

4oz pour at Oxford taproom. Pours murky gold with white head. Aroma has pine, tropical fruit, oils, bubblegum. Flavour has pine, tropical fruit, some hop burn. Some chemical harshness. I want to say this has diacetyl, but I'm not 100% sure. Either way, not good.

A pint pour at the Garrison brewery located outside the ship pier in Halifax. It was served nicely in a snifter out on the patio and the view was a fully cloudy orange-gold with an all right ring of completely white, fine bubbles. I smelled citrus, grain and tropical. The drink was surprisingly good. Orange zest, a hint of tangerine, white bread, malt, pineapple and grapefruit. A nice WC/NE styles combined beer. Uplifting at the time.
