Muddy light amber-brown. Med head. On the nose, a fair bit of pedio, and other yeastiness. And a thin body with some tart dark fruitiness. Ok, not great.

Draft - Spicy grainy notes, almost rye. Cloudy copper with a rich beige head. Grainy and spicy with a touch of sourness. Nothing like it should be.

Bottle at Farmhouse Fest, pours a cloudy dark orangey brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of bright passionfruit, earthy yeast and some farmhouse character. Flavour is very fresh and bright, with lots of passionfruit, light wild yeast, and a touch of earth. Nicely balanced - wouldn't have thought the passionfruit would work with the dark saison base, but it sure does.
