A collaboration with our friends and Steel & Oak, this farmhouse style ale base a base of Munich and wheat malts as well as our own farm-grown barley, a spicy Saison yeast, and a touch of sasquatch hops.

Our collective brew crews set out for a day of dandelion foraging in the fields of Abby. These wild dandelions add bitterness and floral notes, while the addition of local elderflower, elderberries and yarrow bring complexity to this foraged Saison.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy golden colour. Dry, creamy (butter?), a bit herbaceous, soil, mild yeast character, but reminiscent of fake American Saisons, dry/dying flowers.
I can't say I'm impressed.

Smells of doughy wheat with some sweet hops, has a cloudy orange body with little head. Flavour is sweet hops, chewy oiliness, and soft spicy grain. Mouthfeel is full with modest crispness. It's okay, though a bit muddy.

Has a nice hazy light purple colour. Thin head. Nice blackberry nose with a touch of wildness. It’s quite dry, with a saison yeast character, and maybe again just a touch of wildness. The berries are restrained and really only lend a little bit of fruitiness to the finished product.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours an opaque cloudy pink ruby colour wi h a small white head. Aroma is extremely fruity, with loads of red berries, plenty of pithy stone fruits and light funk. Flavour is very earthy, with plenty of saison yeast, farmhouse character, manure, and red berries. Can't shake the barnyardy manure quality, which isn't bad. A little messy and yeasty, but it works decently. Interesting concoction.
