On tap at the brewery. Aroma is good caramel and some ash with hints of some malt. Nice foam is on top of a good dark brown body. Flavour is nice mellow maltiness with a lot of sugar. Mouthfeel is wet and sweet but still good. This is a nice sweet kind of pancake syrup brew.

Taster at the brewery (thx, Brian!). Pours a bit hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma is caramel, some coffee and roasted malt. Same taste. Creamy. Good for what it is.

Draft - Nutty and nice dark malts. Deep clear brown with a small beige head. Dark nutty roast with a touch of bitterness.

Light reddish-brown. Toasty nose with light brown sugar notes. Rich but sharp coffeeish, burnt malt taste. A bit thin, unrefined. More brash than bold.

Cloudy brown colour, small beige head. Lean and in the dry side, it has some good bready my quality, just a hint of roasted malt, milk chocolate, and some hop aroma.
Pretty good beer, very clean and elegant.

Brown color with almost no head. The aroma is too mild. The mouthfeel of this one as well is dry and weak; roasted malt flavor, some roasted nuts, a bit earthy and dusty, with a trace of diacetyl. Ordinary bitterness.
Forgettable.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is typical for a brown ale, with notes of toasted malts, slight roast, and dry cocoa. Flavour brings out notes of toasted malt throughout, with some earthy notes and a touch of roast. Pretty ordinary brown ale, doing nothing to stand apart from the rest. Acceptable.
