@zebf 2014 - Amber brown colour. Aroma and flavour are very malty and quite sweet too. Some dryness in the finish. It’s thick and viscous.

0,33L bottle. Pours murky hazy copper with off white head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is very sweet, caramel, fruits, and herbal. Taste is fruity, caramel, malt, watery, noticeable alcohol, and spicy. Finish is mild hoppy bitter. Overall: very nice brew; feels a little bit like Belgian.

Malzig alkoholischer Antrunk, etwas karamellig. Die starke Süße bleibt vorhanden, etwas nussig, minimal fruchtig. Konstante Malzigkeit, weiterhin karamellig mit leichter Bitterkeit. 10/9/9/9/6/9

12oz bottle, 2009 vintage sampled on 09/19/2013. Kept cellared for the last four years. Pours a very thick, translucent, deep caramel amber with some very thin white head. Nose is still rather sweet, caramel, malt, honey comb, tons of port, some cherry, some treacle, some pine, a lot of booze, rum punch, a little berry. Flavor is nice, very heavy on the port though, a little vanilla extract, caramel, cherry, a little wood pulp, some pine, some grapefruit juice, a little candied apple, pear schnapps, some booze, lots of port. You’d think this would be boozy through, but it isn’t. A little sticky, but mostly clean finish. Stood up to time very well.

Bottled 355ml. -from Za Popen’t Pivoteka, Ljubljana. Shiny darker amber coloured, small pale beige head, dry spicy nose with notes of wood. Moderate malty, caramel, spicy and alcoholic with notes of raisins and dried fruits. Rather sweet and light alcoholic finish. A bit too sweet but overall not bad at all.

This is kind of a mess. Very unbalanced. A lot of alcohol and sweetness in leave from it. Some hops and caramel. Lots of stuff packed in here but it doesn’t match well. No head, no lacing - pours cloudy orange. Average carbonation. Bottle.
